TRADITION AND FLAVORS OF MODENA

The Tradition and flavors of Modena brand created by the Modena Chamber of Commerce relies on Modenatur, Partner of the project, to discover its territory and its food and wine excellences. Day 1: Arrive in Modena, welcome drink in a hotel, briefing with our staff to prepare you for the next few days of explorations, guided tour of the city center and elcome dinner in a traditional restaurant of Modena.

Day 2: Visit of a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese dairy with tasting and "opening" of a new cheese wheel, visit of a traditional balsamic vinegar production where the "Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Moden DOP" is made after years of aging in different wooden barrels follower by a lunch in the farm. In the afternoon, guided tour of winery producing Lambrusco di Modena DOP, the typical red sparkling wine of the region. Dinner and second overnight stay.

Day 3: Check-out from the hotel, visit of the historical food market "Albinelli", with a guide, and lunch at the market to try different types of local street food ("Take Away" Tortellini, Tigelle, Gelato with balsamico topping). After this visit and lunch, transfer to the countryside for a guided tour o a Modena Ham producer with tasting.
